Recognize an Outstanding Montanan
Our Montana way of life is in part defined by our rich outdoor heritage, freedoms, and liberties, but it’s our people who define our state’s character. Montanans are hardworking, fiercely independent, and resilient. Neighbors help neighbors and make our communities stronger and more vibrant.
Governor Gianforte is committed to recognizing outstanding Montanans for their contributions. The Spirit of Montana award, Montana Governor’s Veteran Commendation, and Outstanding Service Award are a few ways the governor honors Montanans who give back to their communities and support one another.
