Governor Bullock, Lt. Governor Cooney Celebrate Opening of New Montana Amphitheater

Governor Steve Bullock today joined Missoula business owners, county officials, and community members to cut the ribbon for the new KettleHouse Amphitheater. Located on the banks of the Blackfoot River in Bonner, Montana, the brand new 4,000-capacity KettleHouse Amphitheater is set to open July 13th.

“Look around and you can see the amazing growth of our small businesses. These folks are creating jobs, growing other local businesses, and encouraging conservation and environmental stewardship in the Blackfoot River Watershed,” said Governor Bullock. “The impact of this on our local economy and on Montana’s economy is great.”

Governor Bullock joined Nick Checota, owner of the Amphitheater and Logjam Presents, Lt. Governor Mike Cooney, Missoula County Commissioners Jean Curtiss, Nicole Rowley and David Strohmaier, Missoula Mayor John Engen, and many other Missoula County officials, community members, and arts leaders.

The KettleHouse Amphitheater is the only dedicated outdoor venue in the region and provides a state-of-the-art facility. Key amenities include a steel structure stage, permanent concession areas that offer full beverage service, first-rate artist accommodations and various ticket purchase options for concertgoers, including reserved permanent stadium seating, general admission standing pit and general admission law seating.
