Governor Steve Bullock today released the following statement in celebration of Labor Day:
“On this day, we celebrate the hard-working men and women of Montana who go to work each day to ensure that the next generations will have even more opportunities than before. Montanans have an unmatched work ethic and a proud history of the right to organize and collectively bargain. As governor, I will always stand up for our workers and their rights – and I will always commit to building up our workforce, expanding opportunities for Montana families, and fueling economic growth throughout the state.”
Tomorrow at 10:30am at the Helena College Airport Campus, Governor Bullock and Lt. Governor Cooney will present the annual Labor Day Report to Montanans and highlight the contributions of working Montanans to the state’s economy.
